Short answer: Mangosaurus is our mango kombucha, and the mango character is real, built from a hop blend developed specifically for it. No artificial sweeteners, still only 39 calories a can, and it's the boldest flavour we make.
What is Mangosaurus kombucha?
Mangosaurus is one of four flavours in the Life Blood range, and it's the one people reach for when they want something big and bold. A punchy, tropical mango character with a full, juicy finish. No artificial sweeteners, still only 39 calories a can. The flavour comes entirely from the hops used in the brew, real fermentation, real hops, a genuine mango hit.
Where does the name Mangosaurus come from?
The name does what it says on the tin. This isn't a polite hint of mango, it's a full, bold hit of it, that's real monster energy. Once we'd built a flavour with that much presence, calling it anything smaller felt wrong.
The secret behind the mango character
Here's the part we don't usually explain, and honestly, we're not about to start now. Mangosaurus began with a simple idea: treat the kombucha the way you'd treat a mango IPA. Most hops carry a little tropical character somewhere in the mix. We spent a long time refining our own blend, testing combinations, pulling the mango notes forward and dialling everything else back, until we landed on something that tasted unmistakably of mango and nothing else. That blend is ours. We're not sharing the recipe, and we're not planning to.
What does Mangosaurus taste like?
Bold, juicy and unmistakably mango, with enough character to stand up on its own. Vegan, gluten free, and a big flavour that earns its name.
